OUCET 2018 Results

Osmania University will declare the OUCET results on their official website after the OUCET examination. Therefore, candidates can access their OUCET results by providing the Osmania University Common Entrance Test Hall ticket number and Date of Birth. Candidate possessing the required Osmania University Common Entrance Test eligibility criteria will only be allowed for the OUCET counseling process after the results are declared. Also, Candidates are required to take the printout of the Osmania University Common Entrance Test scorecard for future reference. Likewise, students called for the Osmania University Common Entrance Test counseling process after the result declaration will have to bring all the important document which includes the Osmania University Common Entrance Test scorecard.

OUCET Preface:

Osmania University Common Entrance Test (OUCET) is Post graduation eligibility test and conducted by Osmania University. Also, started conducting exam since 2011 for various universities located in Telangana region. Of course, the exam conducted for various Courses like PG course, PG Diploma course and five integrated courses offered by four universities namely Osmania, Telangana, Palamuru, and  Mahatma Gandhi universities. Osmania University Common Entrance Test is a state level examination for seeking admissions. On other hands, it has introduced Centralized admission like JEE Main to conduct admission in a standardized, transparent and also student-friendly way.

OUCET Eligibility:

The Eligibility criteria determined as follows:

Nationality- Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Candidates should be Indian.
  2. Candidate must be Telangana state only.
  3. Candidates must satisfy the local and non-local status.
  4. Overseas candidates should satisfy universities concerned before applying.

Educational Qualifications:

  1.  Candidates should have passed B.SC/B.A Examinations with 45% marks.
  2. Candidates pursuing can apply and also have to submit mark sheets at the time of admission.
  3. Candidates should secure 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
  4. Reserved candidates(SC/ST) pass marks are enough.

Age limit:

  1. There is no age limit
  2. Age limit to obtaining Reimbursement fee SC/ST and also BC is 34 years.
  3. Age limit for EBC/Minorities and others is 30 years.

OUCET Exam Pattern:

Osmania University Common Entrance Test (OUCET) conduct in offline mode every year and also takin admissions into various courses.

  • There are 100 Multiple Question Answers in Exam.
  • Each question carries 1 mark and also no negative marks.
  • Paper will be in ENGLISH language.
  • Osmania University Common Entrance Test,  is held in shifts, the courses selected.

M.P.Ed. Exam Mode: The paper consists of 75 questions and 75 marks and other 25 marks will be rewarded by the departments of Physical Education.

OUCET Syllabus:

Osmania University Common Entrance Test (OUCET) not defined in the syllabus. As per trends, Under Graduation level the syllabus of class 11 and 12 of Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, and also English.  Likewise, Post Graduation as also the same which have studied and additional sections added. The additional sections are General knowledge, English, Aptitude, and Reasoning.

OUCET Application form and process:

The candidates have provided all the details asked and fill them. And also the candidates required to provide the valid mobile number and email id for further uses. Certain, if in case of reserved the candidate has to submit the certificate proof of it. The application fee is 700 INR for general and SC/ST 575 INR for a single subject. INR 450  paid for additional subjects online only. Therefore, log in to the account using the Name of the candidate, Application number and also date of birth. Also, the application process requires some documents. The documents are:

  1. Scanned copy of candidate signature.
  2. Scanned passport size photo.
  3. caste certificate.
  4. Physically handicapped certificate (if necessary).

OUCET Exam centers:

Osmania University Common Entrance Test is a Telangana state level entrance exam. The exam is specified in admit card of candidates.

  • Osmania university,
  • Telangana university,
  • Palamuru university, and
  •  Mahatma Gandhi universities.
  • PG centers and affiliated colleges of Osmiana.

OUCET Reference books:

Whereas, no prescribed reference books Osmania University Common Entrance Test, because exam question may be asked in general and as well as from the high school books.

OUCET Admit card:

The Osmania University Common Entrance Test  Admit card is available at the official website and can download by using their Application number and date of birth. Also, the Admit card released online only. It is not sent via post and other modes. Candidates required to fix the passport size photo in space provided and get attested. Therefore, without hall ticket, the candidate cannot be allowed to enter into the examination hall. Keep the hall ticket safe for further use.

OUCET Counseling and seat allotment:

Osmania University Common Entrance Test Counseling is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the exam.  85% of the seats reserved for the local candidates. Likewise, the rest 15% of seats left for other candidates. Cut off for qualifying OUCET is 25 marks out of 100 marks and for SC/ST has no qualifying percentage. Also, The candidate has to download the provisional letter from the Osmania University Common Entrance Test and carry  other relevant documents like results card, counseling process fee receipt, reporting at allotted college

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) conducts the UPSEE every year for aspiring candidates’ admission into courses like B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Arch, B.Pharma, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, B.Des and Lateral Entry programmes. In fact, admission is provided in all government and private institutions located all over Uttar Pradesh. Further, UPSEE is a state level entrance exam.

Delhi University LLB (DU LLB)

Delhi University conducts a national level offline entrance exam called DU LLB. The exam takes place to shortlist aspirants for admission in LLB programmes, in particular, offered by DU. By and large, the various programmes offered at Delhi University’s Faculty of Law – LLB, LLM (2 Years), and LLM (3 Years). Campus Law Centre; Law Centre-I; and Law Centre-II significantly accepts the DU LLB Entrance Exam scores under Delhi University Colleges.

Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET)

AP EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on behalf of AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. To point out, the test takes place across 14 cities in Andhra Pradesh. It is a national level entrance exam for admissions into various courses like – B.Tech; Biotechnology; B.Sc; B.Pharma; Pharm.D; etc.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)

The GPAT intends to measure eligibility of candidates seeking admission into Master’s (M.Pharm) programmes in the country. GPAT is a national level entrance examination. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducts this exam across India. AICTE approved colleges, in particular, accept the scores and gives admissions to the candidates.

Osmania University Common Entrance Test (OUCET)

Osmania University conducts OUCET for admissions into various PG, PG Diploma and 5-year integrated programmes every year. Qualifying students get admission to courses, specifically, offered by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru Universities & its affiliated colleges in Telangana state. The exam takes place generally in June every year.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)

Council of Architecture conducts the NATA, a national level common aptitude test in architecture. To enumerate, this exam measures the applicants’ drawing & observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity & critical thinking ability related to Architecture. This test takes place for the admissions to the undergraduate courses in Architecture. Also, NATA is a compulsory criterion for taking admission to any Architectural college or course in India.

Distance MBA:

Master of Business Administration is a Professional Postgraduate Course in the field of Administration. Master of Business Administration can be pursued in fulltime mode and also in part-time mode. Candidates who want to study an MBA Course but don’t have time for the same pursue distance MBA Course. Distance MBA has more or less the same syllabus and course structure of a regular MBA, Generally with limited classroom sessions. Institutions conduct A very less number of sessions for Distance MBA candidates. The study material for the course is fully provided by the institution itself in most cases.  Distance education bureau of university grants council regulates Distance MBA courses.   • Age Limit: No institution or university sets the age limit for a distance MBA course in India. A candidate can join a distance MBA Course at any age, after completing his under graduation with the required percentage.
  • Educational Qualification: The candidate should have an aggregate of 50% in his undergraduate programme. Students of any stream can pursue a distance MBA Course. Distance MBA accepts 10+2+3 Or 10+2+4 or 10+3+3 study patterns. Admission in distance mode MBA cannot be done if there are standing arrears.
  • Entrance Exams: Most of the universities and also the institutions, demand the candidate to write any accepted MBA entrance exams. Admission Process demands just the entrance exam attempt. The scores in the entrance test have nothing to do with the admission. MBA programme under distance mode accepts any score in the entrance exam.

  • The fees structure of a distance MBA course is comparatively lower than a regular MBA programme.
  • The fee structure generally ranges from Rs.10, 000 to Rs.50, 000 according to the university or institution.

B.Sc Nursing Course

B.Sc Nursing Course

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is an undergraduate programme provided by institutions in India. The duration of  B.Sc nursing Course is generally 4 years. Indian Nursing Council (INC) governs this course. INC sets the syllabus of B.Sc Nursing throughout the institutions in India. B.Sc nursing course pursued in institutions, but not approved by INC will not be considered for jobs and placements. B.Sc Nursing Course Eligibility criteria:

  • Age: The minimum age should be 17 by December 31st of the year of seeking admission.

The candidate should have 50% aggregate in 10+2 to appear for JIPMER nursing entrance exam. Only Indian Nationals can appear for JIPMER Nursing entrance exam.
